Need to change Downloaded Excel date format to DDMMYYYY

Hi Sap Guru,

  I need to change excel date format from YYYYMMDD to DDMMYYYY for the field MKPF-BUDAT at the time of download.

i am using FM  ' DOWNLOAD '

I have checked my user profile SU3 format is maintained as DD.MM.YYYY

But still not getting desired output.
