1. If you activate ML with MM period 201411, the system create records for period 10 and 11
2. If period 201411 is active in MM, you can close period 10 in ML. In general, you only close period N if you change to N+1 period in MMPV

6. About assign the plant to a costing run, what is the message the system show to you? If the Plant is not available in CKMLCP, i guess you assing this plant to other costing run. In general, you can only assing a plant to one costing run. If you have problems with this, post the screenshot of your system.
