Jithendra, LDAP is not the only one option here. We have other prebuilt securities too, that can be used with HWC or native applications. That includes SSO to SAP system etc.
It is not practical to change the data source of each MBO while moving to reach environment (dev, Q, P). If there are 80 MBOs in a project then have to do this task for 160 times (for Q and P). By keeping same SAP connection profile name (connection properties will be different) in all workspace gives the solution for this.

The users can either download the app to their device from respective appstore in the case of HWC. In the case of native apps for large number of users MDMs like Afaria helps to push the app to the device, advantage is that updates of the apps also can be easily pushed to the device. Another option is to manually installing the app in each device.
