The Text table for material master is table MAKT.
Field MAKT-MAKTX contains the material description and can be read based on MATNR & SPRAS.
You need to have this field in your BRF+ design so that data can be fetched and used.
If you are looking for something else then post more details about your requirement and how BRF+ is used in your scenario.

You need a certificate from CA when using Fiori Client. (Self-signed certificate does not work in this case).
You can also use web browser in your mobile device to logon Fiori URL with ignoring certificate problem.

It is streamlined with and optimized for HANA, offers a multitude of new technical features and a shift towards more virtualization and less persistence (i.e. an evolution towards a logical data warehouse). It is therefore also applicable for subsequent releases of BW on HANA, e.g. 7.4 and 7.5 (and any future releases).

We have a problem while saving notes in service request in IC channel. I will explain the issue briefly,
We have 2 text types configured for crm_orderh object in spro: One text type as P and other text type as R. So that one will serve as log text and other will be like log file.
Now when we create service request we are able to enter text and after document save, log text(P) is automatically gets clear.( As Expected behavior). But the problem is, after first save without end the interaction session if we try to edit service request again and then put another comment in text type(P) and save the document, the text type(P) is not getting clear after save. whenever user tries to edit again the same previous comment still exist instead of new text area and not able to put new comment. If we clear that existing comment it is overwriting the comment given earlier..
We are using Tile layout and GSTEXTEDIT/Edit view component as comment assignment.
Can you help what could be the reason here and how can I solve this issue.

In order to track changes to the catalog objects, simplest way is to enable Audit logging in HANA. Information regarding configuration of audit logging can be found

Once audit logging is installed and configured, depending on your config settings for trail target, audit log will be available in syslog or AUDIT_LOG table or as .csv file in trace files directory.
Alternatively if enabling of audit is not an option and as noted in your question EOD status is sufficient, you can take snapshot of tables / views (details of available tables and views can be found in "System Tables and Monitor Views Reference" section in HANA Administration guide) and compare with current entries and write the difference to a logging table.
Enabling audit trail is preferred option.
